Kathmandu: Himalayan Bank Limited has announced that its Mid Baneshwor Branch will be merged into the New Baneshwor Branch effective Shrawan 1, 2083 (mid-July 2026).
As part of the branch consolidation, all safe deposit lockers currently located at the Mid Baneshwor Branch will be relocated to the New Baneshwor Branch on Ashar 29, 2083.
The bank has requested all customers using safe deposit lockers to remove their valuable belongings before the scheduled relocation date. According to the notice, there is a possibility that items stored inside lockers could be damaged during the transfer process.
Himalayan Bank has clarified that it will not be responsible for any loss or damage to items that remain inside the lockers during the relocation if customers fail to remove them before the deadline.
The bank has apologized for any inconvenience caused by the branch merger and locker transfer process. Customers requiring further information are advised to contact the concerned branch or the bank through its official contact channels.
The branch consolidation is part of the bank's operational restructuring aimed at providing uninterrupted banking services while ensuring a smooth transition for customers.
