National ID Now Mandatory for Demat Accounts -

As per the recent regulatory update from CDS and Clearing Limited, it is now mandatory to provide your National Identification Number (NID) for Demat account services. If you are an investor using NMB Capital or NMB Bank branches, please note that you must submit your NID and a photocopy of the card for the following services:

• ​Opening a brand-new Demat account.
• ​Updating the KYC or details of an existing Demat account.
• ​Managing a minor's Demat account (requires the NID of both the minor and the legal guardian).

​This new rule is effective from Ashad 1, 2083. Ensure your details are updated promptly to enjoy uninterrupted depository services.
