Nepal Rastra Bank, Dhangadhi Office has issued a public notice regarding the cancellation of the money changer license of a licensed institution.
According to the notice, Rastriya Money Changer Pvt. Ltd. had obtained authorization to operate money changer services from the central bank. The company has submitted an application requesting to close its business operations.
Following the request and in accordance with Rule 22 of the Money Changer License and Inspection Regulations, 2077 (including the fourth amendment), the institution’s operations are being formally closed and the license is set to be revoked.
The central bank has stated that if any individual or organization has any financial dealings, claims, or concerns related to the money changer, they must submit their details to the concerned office within 35 days from the date of publication of this notice.
Nepal Rastra Bank has urged all concerned parties to take note of the notice and respond within the specified timeframe.
