Nepal Rastra Bank has urged the public to enhance financial awareness by understanding the Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system. RTGS is a secure electronic fund transfer mechanism that enables the instant transfer of NPR 200,000 or more from one bank account to another. Transactions are processed individually in real time without batching or netting, ensuring that funds are credited to the beneficiary’s account immediately. RTGS is widely regarded as a fast, reliable, and secure payment solution for high-value transactions.
