Kathmandu, Nepal: Himalayan Bank Limited (HBL) has announced the merger of its Sundhara Branch with the New Road Branch as part of its branch consolidation initiative aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and customer service.
According to a public notice issued by the bank, the Sundhara Branch, located in Ward No. 11, Sundhara, Kathmandu Metropolitan City, will be integrated into the New Road Branch, which operates from Ward No. 24, Bishal Bazaar, New Road, Kathmandu.
The bank stated that following the merger, all banking services previously available at the Sundhara Branch will be provided through the New Road Branch. Customers of the merged branch will be able to access the full range of banking facilities from the New Road office without interruption.
Himalayan Bank noted that the branch consolidation is part of its ongoing efforts to streamline operations and improve service delivery. The bank has also apologized for any inconvenience customers, service users, and stakeholders may experience during the transition period.
