Nepal Rastra Bank Appoints Sudha Shrestha as Spokesperson and Information Officer

Kathmandu, Nepal – Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal, has appointed Ms. Sudha Shrestha, Law Director at the Governor’s Office, as the bank’s new Spokesperson and Information Officer, effective from Jestha 18, 2083 (Nepali Calendar).

According to an official notice issued by Nepal Rastra Bank, Ms. Shrestha will be responsible for handling the bank’s public communications, media relations, and information dissemination in accordance with the Right to Information framework. Her appointment reflects the bank’s commitment to ensuring transparency, accountability, and effective communication with the public and stakeholders.

Ms. Shrestha has been associated with Nepal Rastra Bank since 2064 B.S., bringing extensive experience and expertise in legal and regulatory matters within the banking sector. Her long-standing service is expected to contribute significantly to strengthening the institution’s communication and information management functions.

The notice further states that members of the public, media representatives, and concerned stakeholders can contact the newly appointed Information Officer through the official communication channels provided by the bank.
