NIC ASIA Bank has announced a temporary interruption of its digital and banking services due to a scheduled firewall upgrade aimed at strengthening network security and improving its information technology infrastructure.
According to the bank’s official notice, the maintenance work will take place on Friday, Jestha 15, 2083, from 12:15 AM to 3:15 AM. During this three-hour maintenance period, customers may experience partial or complete disruption in several banking channels and digital platforms.
The services likely to be affected include mobile banking, internet banking, ATM services, POS terminals, QR payments, and ConnectIPS transactions.
The bank stated that the firewall replacement is an important step toward enhancing system security and ensuring more reliable digital banking services for customers in the future.
NIC ASIA Bank has apologized for the inconvenience caused during the maintenance period and has requested customers to complete urgent transactions in advance to avoid disruption.
