Notice Regarding PAN, NID & Email Update Requested by Muktinath Bikas Bank for Customers

Kathmandu, Nepal – Muktinath Bikas Bank Limited, a leading national-level "B" class development bank in Nepal, has issued an urgent notice requesting all its account holders to update their key identification and communication credentials. The bank is systematically integrating Permanent Account Numbers (PAN), National Identity Cards (NID), and verified email addresses into its core banking systems.

According to the official announcement, the integration of PAN details is being executed in strict compliance with the Income Tax Act, 2058. This legal framework requires tax deduction details from bank accounts to be seamlessly linked with the central PAN system monitored by the Inland Revenue Department (IRD) under the Ministry of Finance, Government of Nepal.
