Kathmandu — Nepal Rastra Bank has reduced the ATM cash withdrawal limit to Rs 20,000 per transaction, down from Rs 25,000, under its new Unified Payment System Directive, 2082.
The daily withdrawal limit has been lowered to Rs 50,000 and the monthly cap to Rs 300,000, from the previous Rs 100,000 and Rs 400,000 respectively.
Limits for prepaid and credit card withdrawals remain unchanged, while no cap has been imposed on card payments for goods and services.
