Laxmi Sunrise Bank Issues Notice on Closure of 10-Year Inactive Zero Balance Accounts -

Laxmi Sunrise Bank Limited has issued a public notice regarding the closure of bank accounts that have remained inactive with zero balance for the past 10 years. This action is being taken in accordance with the Unified Directive, 2082 (Instruction No. 16, Clause 3(3)) issued by Nepal Rastra Bank.

All customers holding accounts with zero balance and no transactions for 10 consecutive years are requested to activate and operate their accounts within 35 days from the date of publication of this notice. Customers who fail to update or reactivate their accounts within the specified time period will have their accounts permanently closed as per regulatory requirements.
