Kathmandu — Sanima Bank has announced a new security measure requiring all cardholders to enter their Personal Identification Number (PIN) for every Point of Sale (POS) transaction, except for contactless payments. The bank says the move aims to strengthen the safety and reliability of card-based transactions.
According to the notice issued by Sanima Bank, customers must now input their PIN during checkout to ensure a “smooth, secure, and successful transaction experience.” The bank emphasized that the change is part of its ongoing efforts to enhance protection against unauthorized card use and financial fraud.
Sanima Bank has also encouraged customers to reach out for support if they face any issues or require assistance. Cardholders can contact the Card Help Center at 01-5970133, which operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
The bank expressed its commitment to prioritizing customer security while providing convenient banking services across the country.
