Kathmandu, July 24 – Shangri-la Development Bank Ltd. has announced job openings for various positions at its Central Office in Kathmandu and branch offices in Tulsipur/Lamahi (Dang). The bank is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the following roles:

Available Positions:

1. Information Security Officer (Officer Level)

   • Location: Central Office, Baluwatar, Kathmandu

   • Department: Integrated Risk

   • Openings: 1

2. AML/CFT Officer (Junior Officer/Officer Level)

   • Location: Central Office, Baluwatar, Kathmandu

   • Department: AML/CFT

   • Openings: 1

3. Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant

   • Position: Senior Assistant/Supervisor

   • Location: Central Office, Baluwatar, Kathmandu

   • Departments: Internal Audit, Compliance, AML/CFT

   • Openings: Few

4. Branch Manager (Junior Officer/Officer Level)

   • Location: Tulsipur / Lamahi (Dang)

   • Openings: 1

General Requirements:

• Education:

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree (Master’s Preferred for Officer Level).

  • Information Security Officer applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science or related field.

  • Semi Qualified CA must have completed at least CAP II or equivalent from ICAN/ICAI.

• Experience:

  • Information Security Officer: Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience, preferably in BFIs, with strong knowledge of information security policies and practices.

  • AML/CFT Officer: Minimum 5 years’ relevant banking experience in a development or commercial bank, with recent experience in a supervisory role.

  • Semi Qualified CA: Minimum 2 years of Articleship or relevant banking experience.

  • Branch Manager: Minimum 5 years of banking experience with at least 3 years in branch management.

• Age Limit:

  • Below 40 years for Officer Level

  • Below 35 years for Assistant Level
