Kathmandu - Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB), the central bank of Nepal, has officially invited public suggestions for the formulation of the Monetary Policy for the upcoming Fiscal Year 2082/83. In a notice issued by the Economic Research Department, NRB has asked stakeholders, experts, and the general public to submit their opinions and recommendations.
As per the provisions under the NRB Act, 2058, the central bank formulates and makes public its monetary policy every fiscal year. In alignment with this, NRB is currently in the process of drafting the monetary policy for FY 2082/83.
Those willing to contribute suggestions are requested to send their input to the bank's Economic Research Department by the end of Asar 10, 2082. Submissions can be made via email at [email protected].
The central bank emphasized that such participatory processes are vital for creating an inclusive and effective monetary framework that supports macroeconomic stability and sustainable growth.
