Sanima Bank Announces Vacancy for Information Security Officer

Kathmandu, May 7, 2025 — Sanima Bank Limited has announced a job vacancy for the position of Officer to Senior Officer in the Information Security department, inviting applications from qualified and dynamic Nepali citizens.

The position is based at the bank’s Head Office and aims to strengthen the institution’s cybersecurity framework. The ideal candidate must hold a Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field from a recognized university, with certifications such as CEH, CISA, CISSP, or CISM, and have a minimum of five years of relevant experience. Applicants should not exceed the age of 40 years as of May 18, 2025.

According to the notice, the selected candidate will be responsible for safeguarding the bank's information assets by assessing the security posture, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending positive changes. Expertise in penetration testing, vulnerability assessment, and technologies such as firewalls, SIEM, antivirus, and IDS/IPS is highly desired.
