Kathmandu, April 20 – Global IME Bank Ltd., a leading 'A' class commercial bank in Nepal, has opened job opportunities for dynamic and self-motivated Nepalese citizens seeking to build a career in banking. The bank has announced vacancies for Officer and Assistant Level positions in its Integrated Risk and Information Technology departments.

The required qualifications include at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from a recognized university. Applicants must also meet the age criteria—candidates for Officer Level should not exceed 40 years of age, and Assistant Level applicants should be under 35 years of age as of the last application date.

Key Positions Available:

1. Integrated Risk Department – Information Security Analyst (ISA)

Officer Level: Candidates must have a minimum of two years of relevant experience in the banking or financial sector, or three years in the related field.
Assistant Level: At least one year of relevant experience is required.

Key Skills & Responsibilities:

VAPT assessments, red teaming, security configuration reviews, and SIEM log analysis.
For Assistant Level: Emphasis on vulnerability assessments, threat detection, and policy reviews.

Preferred Certifications: CEH, CPENT, CRTO, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer, Certified SOC Analyst.

2. Information Technology Department

Includes openings for:

Data Scientists
Data Engineers / Data Analysts
Reporting Analysts / BI Dashboard Developers

Key Skills Required:

Strong programming knowledge in Python, R, SQL.
Familiarity with tools like Hadoop, Spark, Tableau, Power BI, D3.js.
Deep understanding of data modeling, ETL pipelines, and data visualization.
Experience with both structured and unstructured data and advanced analytics.
