Miteri Development Bank Limited Seeks Applications for CEO Position

Dharan, Sunsari – October 25, 2024: Miteri Development Bank Limited, one of the leading development banks in Koshi Province, has announced an open call for applications for the position of Chief Executive Officer (CEO). The bank, headquartered in Dharan, is looking for a highly dynamic and committed Nepalese citizen to lead its operations and drive future growth.

The CEO will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s overall operations, formulating and implementing strategic plans, managing human resources, fostering relationships with customers and stakeholders, and ensuring the bank’s continued success in providing financial services in the region. The ideal candidate should have extensive banking knowledge, a proven track record in leadership, and the ability to meet stakeholder expectations.

Qualifications and Experience:

• The applicant must meet the requirements set forth in the Bank and Financial Institutions Act, 2073 and the Unified Directives of Nepal Rastra Bank.
• A minimum of a master's degree in Management, Banking, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or Law is required.
• Candidates should have at least 10 years of experience in senior management positions at commercial banks or financial institutions, with a demonstrated ability to manage both liabilities and assets, as well as lead human resources and banking operations.
• Applicants must be under 65 years of age as of Mangsir 15, 2081 (November 30, 2024).

Selection Process:

Shortlisted candidates will be invited to present a strategic and business plan for the bank for the next four years. Presentations will be made to an interview panel, with details to be provided later. Reference materials will be sent to shortlisted candidates.
