Life Insurance Corporation (Nepal) Ltd., a leading life insurance company in Nepal, is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to be based in Kathmandu. The COO will be responsible for overseeing the Company's operational policies, rules, initiatives, and goals to help execute the long-term and short-term plans and policies.
The COO will report to the Deputy Chief Executive Officer and work closely with province offices and departments to carry out the organization's goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a post-graduation in Business or Finance, with at least 15 years of managerial experience in Life Insurance, with at least 5 years of experience in Marketing. The candidate should also have a good working knowledge of life insurance and strong marketing strategies & techniques for gaining market share.
The COO will be expected to establish, implement, and communicate the strategic direction of the organization's operational goals, identify and recommend new processes, technologies, and systems for overall growth, and develop and recommend marketing strategies & tools to increase the Company's market share. They will also guide, lead, and build a team and develop a strong working relationship with employees.
The salary is negotiable and performance reviews will be on a half-yearly basis.
