Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced two vacancies for the post of Economist (Officer Third) in its central office. The bank has invited online applications from interested and eligible Nepali citizens from 15th Chaitra, 2079 BS (29th March, 2023 AD) to the deadline of 29th Chaitra, 2079 BS (12th April, 2023 AD).

The eligibility criteria for the post include completion of a Post Graduate degree in Economics from a recognized university and having a minimum of two years of experience in the relevant field. The candidate must also be under 44 years of age at the time of application submission.

Applicants must scan and attach their educational qualification certificate obtained from a recognized university in Economics subject for Post Graduation along with citizenship certificate, experience certificate, and other relevant documents while submitting the online application form. Any incomplete application or the one without payment of the application fee of NPR 1000/- will not be processed.

The selection process includes a written examination and interview. Only the top 100 candidates who pass the written examination will be called for the interview. The contract period for the position is 6 months, which can be renewed upon satisfactory performance.
