Prabhu Bank Limited Announces New Deposit and Lending Interest Rates Effective from 1st Chaitra, 2079, in Nepal
Prabhu Bank Limited, one of the leading banks in Nepal, has announced its new deposit and lending interest rates that will be effective from the 1st of Chaitra, 2079. The bank offers a range of deposit products with interest rates ranging from 6% to 9% per annum. In addition, Prabhu call deposits will earn an interest rate of up to 3% per annum.
For loans and advances, the bank offers different interest rates based on the type of loan. Export credit premium on the base rate will be up to 3%, while corporate/multinationals and Prabhu SME loans will have a premium on the base rate of up to 5%. Microfinance loans (direct lending) and other deprived loans will be premium on the base rate of up to 5%, and deprived subsidized loans will be premium on the base rate of up to 2%. Other subsidized loans will have a premium on the base rate of up to 2%. Personal auto loans against property (PLAP), term loans, and individual revolving loans will have a premium on the base rate of up to 5%.
Fixed lending rates for home loans up to 5 years will have a premium on the base rate of 12.99%, while those above 5 years will have a premium on the base rate of 13.99%. Similarly, auto loans up to 5 years will have a premium on the base rate of 13.50%, while those above 5 years will have a premium on the base rate of 14.50%.
