Sanima Middle Tamor Hydropower Limited is launching an initial public offering (IPO) of its issued capital worth 3.3 billion 25 million rupees. The company has already allocated 15 percent of the capital, or 49 million 98 million 75 thousand rupees, to issue 49 million 98 thousand 750 ordinary shares to the general public. Interested investors can apply for a minimum of 10 shares to a maximum of 20,000 shares. The issue is set to close on the 30th of Falgun at the earliest and 10th of Chaitra at the latest. The company operates the 73 MW Madhya Tamor hydropower project with an estimated total cost of 13 billion 33 billion rupees. The project's investment payback period is 6.73 years, while the discount payback period is 13.36 years. However, Care Rating Nepal has given the company a high-risk rating for meeting its obligations, indicating potential risks to investors.
