Modi Energy Limited has opened the IPO sale for project-affected locals and Nepalese working abroad. They are selling 2.9 million shares equal to 29 million rupees to locals affected by the project and 4.35 lakh shares equivalent to 435 million rupees to Nepalis employed abroad. Locals can apply for a minimum of 10 shares to a maximum of 1000 shares and Nepalis employed abroad can apply for a minimum of 10 shares to 100,000 shares. The IPO sale will remain open until March 24 if all shares for locals are not applied for. The IPO can be filled at the rate of 100 rupees per share. Sunrise Capital is the sales manager, and applicants can apply from several bank branches.
