Deprosc Microfinance Financial Institution Limited is a national-level Class 'D' microfinance institution regulated by the Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB). The institution operates under the Bank and Financial Institutions Act, 2073 (BAFIA 2073) and the Companies Act, 2063.
The company was registered on 28 Poush 2057 B.S. with the Office of the Company Registrar under Nepal's Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies. It received its operating license from Nepal Rastra Bank on 19 Ashadh 2058 B.S. under the name Deprosc Development Bank Limited and officially commenced microfinance operations on 1 Shrawan 2058 B.S.
Since its establishment, Deprosc Microfinance has remained committed to expanding financial inclusion, promoting entrepreneurship, supporting self-employment, and improving the socio-economic conditions of disadvantaged, marginalized, and low-income communities throughout Nepal.
