Online banking? My bank keeps asking me if I want to do the online banking. I keep saying no. I am concerned about the security of online banking. I know sending checks in the mail can be a risk to. However, I just think its a bigger risk putting your personal information on the world wide web for someone to gain access to. Is it logical to feel this way?

Chase Bank users- how quick and accurate is the online banking? I currently bank at Fifth Third and am SO fed up with not seeing my deposits post for days. Two weeks ago I overdrew for the first time in my life. And three days before that, on a Tuesday before 10am, I made a $2000 deposit. This makes my blood boil. Of course, they didn't charge me a penalty, but I'm still so mad- if I had bounced a check or been declined at a store I would have been furious, to me that is embarassing. It's impossible for me to know how much money I have or get caught up with my check register when their online posting is so poor. I hate to rely on technology but if it worked correctly, it would make everything easier. Chase Bank is the most convenient for me to switch to, but I need to know how they compare in this aspect before I make the change. Thanks!

why still recieve paper statements when i have online banking? i had signed up to digital banking for easy access and control, but i still recieve paper statements, i have no need for them now because i have full access online. the bank say they have to do it by law, but i see this is a waste of paper and resources, surely this would be another good way of reducing your 'carbon footprint'

Why do banks push online banking? Wells Fargo (my bank) has been pushing me to use online banking a lot. Like paying bills online, checking my balances online, transferring, etc. Essentially they're trying to discourage me from writing paper checks. It must benefit them somehow if we bank online.
