Kathmandu, June 29: Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle administered the oath of office and secrecy to Dr. Gopal Prasad Bhatt, the newly appointed Chairperson of the Nepal Securities Board (SEBON), at a ceremony held at the Ministry of Finance on Monday.
Following the oath-taking, Finance Minister Wagle instructed the new chairperson to work with integrity to protect investors' interests and ensure the security of their investments.
Dr. Bhatt pledged to carry out his responsibilities honestly and contribute to the development of Nepal's capital market in line with the government's vision and policies.
The Cabinet had appointed Dr. Bhatt as the Chairperson of SEBON during its meeting held on June 19.
