Kathmandu | As Nepal witnesses a steady rise in electric vehicle (EV) adoption, one concern continues to echo among prospective buyers: the high cost of maintenance and spare parts. Addressing this common worry, Chinese automaker Kaiyi has introduced an affordable and reliable after-sales support program for its flagship EV model, the Kaiyi X3 PRO.
Through this initiative, Kaiyi aims to make EV ownership more economical and stress-free for the average Nepali consumer. The company now offers a range of high-quality spare parts at competitive prices, making routine maintenance both accessible and affordable.
“We understand the hesitation many people have regarding EV maintenance costs. Our goal is to change that perception by offering reliable spare parts at a price point that suits Nepali buyers,” said a Kaiyi Nepal spokesperson.
The Kaiyi X3 PRO EV, known for its blend of style, performance, and range, is rapidly gaining popularity in Nepal’s urban market. With this new maintenance-friendly approach, Kaiyi hopes to further strengthen consumer trust and remove key barriers to EV adoption.
The availability of spare parts and maintenance support from the official showroom in Thapathali, Kathmandu (opposite Nepal Rastra Bank) is expected to enhance customer experience and reduce downtime for vehicle owners.
As the government continues to promote electric mobility with tax incentives and infrastructure expansion, Kaiyi’s move aligns well with Nepal’s broader sustainability goals.
