Kathmandu – Nepal SBI Bank Ltd. (NSBL) has made a significant contribution of NPR 25 lakhs to the Prime Minister’s Disaster Relief Fund, aiding relief efforts for those affected by the recent landslides and floods caused by heavy rainfall across the nation. This donation highlights NSBL’s ongoing commitment to supporting the nation in times of crisis.
The cheque was handed over to the Honorable Prime Minister, Mr. K.P. Sharma Oli, by Mr. Dipak Kumar De, Managing Director & CEO of NSBL, in a formal event at the Prime Minister’s office. The program was attended by key government officials along with senior executives from the bank, including Mr. Rajesh Kumar Panda, Deputy CEO & CFO, Mr. Yadvender Kant, COO, Mr. Vikas Anand, and Mr. Ritesh Aryal, Chief Business Development Officer (CBDO).
This contribution comes at a time when multiple regions across Nepal are reeling from the effects of natural disasters. The funds are expected to support immediate relief measures, including shelter, medical care, and rebuilding efforts for the affected communities.
