The Federation pays tribute to the lives lost in the calamity and extends heartfelt condolences to the grieving families while wishing a swift recovery to the injured.

In response to this crisis, the FNCCI has announced an emergency relief fund of Rs 1 lakh for each severely affected district, to be distributed through the District Chambers. This financial support aims to facilitate immediate relief efforts in the most impacted areas.

A Call for Collective Action

The Federation has urged its Executive Committee members, as well as District and Municipal Chambers, sectoral associations, and all entrepreneurs to extend necessary assistance during this challenging time.

“We are calling on all our members to remain proactive in ensuring the supply of essential goods, especially since transportation has been severely disrupted by floods and landslides,” a spokesperson for FNCCI stated.

Supporting Rescue Operations

Recognizing the urgent needs of government agencies involved in rescue operations, the FNCCI is also encouraging its members to contribute necessary equipment and resources to assist these efforts.
