In today's stock market news, the Nepse Index decreased by 6.90 points and closed at 19,266.60. The total turnover of the day was Rs. 1,069,804,825.13 with a total of 3,163,389 shares traded.
Among the companies listed on the Nepse, 74 companies saw an increase in their share prices while 127 companies experienced a decline. 12 companies remained unchanged.
Manushi Laghubitta (MLBS), Unique Nepal Laghubitta (UNLC), and Shuvam Power Limited (SPL) were among the top gainers of the day with their share prices increasing by more than 10%.
On the other hand, Sanima Growth Fund (SAGF) and Shrijanshil Laghubitta (SHLB) saw a decline in their share prices by more than 7%.
Investors were closely monitoring the market as the Nepse Index had been on an upward trend in recent days, but today's decline came as a surprise to many. However, analysts are optimistic that the market will recover soon as there is still a positive sentiment among investors.
