NEPSE Index Rises Marginally by 3.21 Points, Closes at 2,565.16

Kathmandu, Nov 11:
The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a slight increase of 3.21 points (0.12%) on Monday, closing at 2,565.16 points. Despite the modest gain, the market showed mixed investor sentiment throughout the trading session.

A total of 7,947,058 shares were traded today across different sectors, with a total turnover of Rs. 3.62 billion. Out of all listed companies, 142 advanced, 102 declined, and 10 remained unchanged.

Top Gainers

Leading the gainers’ list, Shine Resunga Debenture (SHINED) surged by 10%, closing at Rs. 1,100. Bandipur Cablecar and Tourism Limited​​​​​​​ (BANDIPUR) followed with a 10% rise to Rs. 313.50, while Mabilung Energy Limited​​​​​​​ (MABEL), Sagar Distillery Limited (SAGAR), and Bungal Hydro Limited​​​​​​​ (BUNGAL) also posted nearly 10% gains, showing strong momentum in select scrips.

Top Turnover Companies

In terms of turnover, Sahas Urja Limited (SAHAS) topped the chart with Rs. 355.8 million, followed by Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd​​​​​​​ (RADHI) with Rs. 323.2 million and NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited (NRN) with Rs. 267.6 million. SHIVM Cements Ltd and Synergy Power Development Ltd. (SPDL) also saw significant trading activity.

Overall, the trading day ended on a positive note with cautious optimism among investors as the index managed to stay above the 2,560-point mark amid fluctuating intraday movements.
