Kathmandu, Nov 2 – The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) index witnessed a notable gain of 30.75 points (1.18%), closing at 2,631.14 on Sunday. The market recorded a total turnover of Rs. 9.20 billion, with 29.73 million shares traded across various companies.
Out of all listed stocks, 205 advanced, 42 declined, and 3 remained unchanged, reflecting overall positive investor sentiment.
Among the top gainers, SLBSL (Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited) surged by 10% to close at Rs. 1,508.10, followed by GUFL, PMHPL, PPL, and TPC, each gaining 10%.
In terms of turnover, HBLPO (Himalayan Bank Ltd. Promoter Share) topped the chart with Rs. 1.66 billion, followed by UNHPL, BPCL, RADHI, and NRN.
The market showed steady upward momentum throughout the trading session before closing in the green, suggesting renewed optimism among investors.
