Nepal SBI Bank Limited announces closure of its "7% Nepal SBI Bank Debenture 2090" which has achieved remarkable success, with the issue being oversubscribed by more than four times. The debenture, launched with a total offering of 30 lacs units at a par value of NPR 1,000 each, amounting to NPR 3.00 billion, attracted applications for over 1.2 core units. The debenture issue, which opened on 14th July 2025, and closed on 17th July 2025 saw an unprecedented response from investors, highlighting the strong trust and confidence in Nepal SBI Bank’s financial stability and growth potential.
Of the total units, 18,00,000 were allocated through private placement, while 12,00,000 units were offered to the general public, with 5% (60,000 units) reserved specifically for mutual funds. The "7% Nepal SBI Bank Debenture 2090" offers an attractive 7% annual interest rate and has a maturity period of 10 years. Approved by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) on 21st May 2025, the issue was managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited.
