What is Third Party Insurance in Nepal?

Third Party Insurance:  (1) In the event of a vehicle accident causing any damage to a third party or any of their property, the owner or manager of the vehicle must insure third party insurance of a specified amount for the purpose of compensating for such loss.

(2) If a third party or any of their property is damaged due to a vehicle accident,  their rightful owner shall receive the amount as per sub-section (1) for the compensation of such loss.

(3) According to sub-section (1), if a vehicle driven by a third party or without comprehensive insurance has an accident and any third party or his property is damaged, the insurance amount to be received by the third party or his rightful person as per sub-section (1) shall be paid to their rightful person by the owner or manager of the vehicle. Compensation should be given.
