Kathmandu: Nabil Bank Limited has once again been recognized as the highest tax-paying bank in the banking sector. On the occasion of National Tax Day, the Internal Revenue Department honored the bank with a certificate during a program held on Saturday.
Nabil Bank was honored for paying the highest tax in the banking, financial, and insurance sector for the eighth time. The award was presented by Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel, and the certificate was received on behalf of the bank by its Senior Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Sujit Kumar Shakya.
The Government of Nepal annually acknowledges institutions and individuals who contribute the highest taxes across various sectors. Nabil Bank has previously received this honor for the fiscal years 2067/68, 2070/71, 2071/72, 2073/74, 2075/76, 2076/77, and 2077/78.
