1. Chief Credit Officer (Deputy Manager/Manager)- For Kathmandu
Job Overview:
Chief Credit Officer is Head of Credit Department and Part of Top Management.
She/he will be responsible for the overall credit function and credit portfolio of
company.
Job Description:
- Responsible for credit growth.
- Ensure credit expansion aligned with target.
- Mitigation ofcredit risk.
- Identify areas for credit growth, risk mitigation etc.
- Responsible for building a good credit portfolio of corporate advances through
high quality appraisal.
- Maintain high quality credit portfolio in diversified sectors along with
commensurate risk-based returns.
- Overall supervision of credit processes.
- Provide advisory support to business plans and strategy, sO as to improve the
quality of credit portfolio.
- Implementingstrategies for defining credit policy and lending parameters.
- Develop new product paperand review existing policies.
- Participating in determination ofinterest rateand tariffs.
- Responsible for developing credit control policies and procedure.
Job Specifications:
- Minimum Bachelors’ Degree in Management/ Economics.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Credit Management in BFIs not less than officer
level.
- Good understanding oflegal complexities of loans, repayment capacity.
- Comprehensive banking background in credit management.
- Strong financialanalysis and loan underwriting skills.
- Must have knowledge of NRB Directive, Banking laws and other relevant laws.
- Excellentcommunication skills.
- Having valid two wheelers driving license.
- ExcellentLeading skills and can lead the team independently.
