Kathmandu, Laxmi Bank on Wednesday appointed Raman Nepal as the Chairman of the Board of Directors. A meeting of the Board of Directors of the bank held today has decided to appoint Nepal as the chairman. The newly-appointed Chairman, Nepal has taken the oath of office before the Governor of NRB.
Chairman, Nepal had been representing the founding shareholders of the bank in the Board of Directors of the bank since February 2075 on behalf of the Citizens Investment Trust. Chairman, Nepal Rastra Bank, who has retired from the post of director after completing 30 years of service, is currently working as an executive director in the Citizens Investment Trust (CIT).
