The company is licensed by the Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) as a Merchant Banker, having received its license on 2081/07/08 B.S.

Himalayan Life Insurance Limited was formed through the merger of Prime Life Insurance Limited, Gurans Life Insurance Limited, and Union Life Insurance Limited. The merger received approvals from the relevant regulatory authorities, including:
