Kathmandu- NMB Bank has introduced the 'NMB NextGen Banking Leaders Scholarship,' a program aimed at nurturing future leaders in the banking sector. The scholarship will support seven undergraduate students from Kathmandu University, with one recipient from each of Nepal's seven provinces.
This initiative reflects NMB Bank's commitment to fostering diversity and innovation in the banking industry. By investing in young talent, the bank aims to equip students with leadership skills that will drive positive change in the sector.
NMB Bank's legacy of excellence includes being named 'Bank of the Year Asia 2021' by The Banker Magazine of The Financial Times, London. It has also won the 'Bank of the Year' title in 2017, 2018, 2020, and 2021. The bank operates 201 branches, 187 ATMs, and 11 extension counters across the country.
